If you are like me, what makes a book expensive is not how much money it costs to buy, but rather how much time it takes to read. This script lets you know exactly how long it will take you to read the book and displays the "time cost" right above the list price of the book (see image).

This script will work for any book on Amazon that allows you to "search inside this book". This is needed for a "Text Stats" link to be available which lists the word count of the book.

You can adjust the words_per_minute variable to the speed you read books (you can calculate how many words per minute you read here).
